     This piece from the War as as abstraction is a photograph of layered puddle of melted wax. The wax reminds me of a puddle of magma. The way the layers are done it makes the piece look very unique because you can see the multiple layers along with the thickness. The photo appears to be zoomed in so you can see the details. The color of the wax appears to be black.

The photograph done by Malin Bernalt is about wax and war while the photograph done by Alexander Remnev is about geometry. The piece about War is appears to be in black and white while the other is in color. Also it is a close up photograph while the other is at a distance.

         This winter landscape is a picture of a creek or river in an open area next to the forest. The creek or river reminds me of the creek or river in Missouri especially the Undercliff campground. The colors of the picture appears to be neutral and a little warm. The creek or river is mostly frozen over while there appears to snow on the ground.

        The painting done by Vilhelm Kyhn is about winter while the painting done by Knut Bull is about a wreck. The winter painting is a landscape of a creek or river with a forest while the other is landscape with a ship wreck and a raging ocean. Both paintings are very good paintings  withe the style and brush work. The color choices are great.

Father, Mother, and Child

         This sculpture appears to be of a small family. The mother is sitting with her child on her lap and her husband is hugging the child. It looks like a very peaceful and heart warming scene. The father and mother appear to have their foreheads touching. They all appear to be sitting.

           This sculpture is done by using stainless steel and a light. The stainless steel is made into a staircase with a hallway that leads to a cirucalar area that houses the light. Which in return makes the hallway very warm. It reminds me of a hallway in a sci fi movie.

        The sculpture done by Per Inge Bjordo is about a space and light while the sculpture done by Anne Allarfyce is about life. It appears that you can move it to different while the other cannot be moved. It is the natural color of stainless steel while the other is painted red.

        This print is that of a man with an eye patch dressed in a flannel shirt and jeans. The man reminds me of a zombie. While at the same time it also reminds me of a video game character. The facial expression look almost a mix between anger and exhausted.

         The print done by Cindy Sherman is about a man while the print done by Richard Misrach is about light and the sea. It also appears that the man looks a zombie or a video game character while the other is about a storm. The colors in the Untitled #141 is a good choice because is complements everything else. While the other is more natural colors.
